JOIN OUR MOVEMENT

Let’s fund early childhood
education as a public good.

Who We Are:
We are a grassroots group of volunteers
passionate about getting all our kids off to a good, healthy start. We are working to bring public money to fund local early childhood education and services.

Our Vision
All children in the Service District fulfill
their potential because they have access to high-quality, culturally appropriate early childhood education and developmental services.

Our Mission
Fund access to quality early childhood education and associated services for children from birth to five, emphasizing children from birth to three, by passing a voter-approved increase in local taxes to close the funding gaps.
How will this help the community?
Early investment, big returns
Data shows that supporting the early development of disadvantaged children is an economic powerhouse. The initial costs are quickly overshadowed by lifelong gains, like better health, less need for special education, lower crime rates, and more productive families.
Stabilize the Workforce
In Colorado, 67% percent of children
under six have all parents in the workforce. Subsidized early learning programs would allow more parents, especially mothers,
to enter or remain in the workforce.
Fuel Economic Growth
Studies by Moody's Investment Services suggest that closing the gender gap in workforce participation could boost the US economy by $1 trillion over the next decade.
